You learn as you go in a business of any sort. Truth is – most people figure it out as they go when they step into entrepreneurship especially at the start.
Here are some steps not necessarily in order that you can take to start a spiritual business.
- Have a business concept in mind
- Beta test your offering with a potential client population
- Cast an Astrology chart for your business
- Establish a price point
- Create a business brand
- Create a Social Media Strategy
- File an LLC
- Launch Your Business
Have a Business Concept in Mind
Businesses tend to have a focal point in which they offer either products or services. Narrowing down what your business will provide to your clients is a great first place to start. The more specific you are with the service the better.
Most spiritual business are initially service based until they expand to offer products. This tends to be a natural progression over the course of time.
Pro witch tip: Trust that the Spirit of the business will inform the progression and evolution of your business.
Furthermore, identifying a name for your business is important as well.
Beta test offerings and services with a potential client population. Identifying your market and client population helps. Here we will assume your spiritual business is service based. Beta testing services before you officially launch your business is recommended. In exchange for a potentially free service, asking for a review is encouraged. This way you can have some social media content to post when you launch your business.
Cast an Astrology Chart for your Business
I have an entire video explaining this here.
There are a couple of ways to go about casting an Astrology chart for your business. The exact moment you receive money for your first service or LLC your business are two time periods that can be considered. An exact location, time, and date are needed to cast any type of Astrology chart.
What is the purpose of a birth chart for your business? You can tap into the spirit of your business with its birth chart. You can identify clients, identify best times to launch and create, and prepare for financial ebbs and flows with this information.
Establish a Price Point
Price points should reflect a couple of different factors. These factors include time invested, ROI (return on investment), the value of the service/product, and years of experience.
Create a Business Brand
Every business should have an online presence. Branding is important and having a streamlined and consistent identity is critical.
Some initial steps to take are to create a logo for your business and establish a color schematic to use for marketing.
Create a Social Media Strategy
This is one thing I wish I would have done when I launched Agua Astrology.
Having an idea of what to post on which platform like YouTube, Instagram, and Pinterest and what the goal of your content will be is crucial.
Scheduling content in advance is also efficient.
File an LLC
Officially legalizing your business in the eyes of the government will give your business legitimacy. The type of legal company structure (LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp) will vary depending on the size of your business and your personal needs. An LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) ultimately protects your personal assets in case you are faced with litigious retaliation from a client.
Launch Your Business
Once you have a foundation in place, launching your spiritual business is next. This is the best step and such a special season to be in as a business owner. Offering a sale upon your initial launch will help verify credibility with payment systems like PayPal.
Happy Launching!
